There is no business like war. After Sept. 11 Washinton expand its military presence in oil-producing counties throughout the world. The war against Iraq allows U.S. military to have bases in the persian Gulf. The war aginst Yugoslavia gave military bases in Bosnia, Kosovo and Macedonia. The war against the Taliban settled bases in Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Turkey, Georgia and Azerbaijan. These may not be ultimate thrust of U.S., they can also look for even larger stakes. Control of oil is key to control of the world economy. if the U.S. controls the sources of energy of its rivals- Europe, Japan, China and other nations trying to be more independent against the fastening of U.S. - they win. Washinton looking for more and more oil and keeps rotating its war programme Enduring its freedom but dictating other nations neglecting their freedom.
