Tata motors are also expected to join the race and will be launching it LPG variant shortly but presently they offer authorized CNG kit fitment with their dealers for their ‘Indica’ and ‘Indigo’ model.
But there are some issues faced with the LPG/CNG users that prevent others from opting for the LPG/CNG kits. Some car owners are not well versed with the knowledge of converting a car into LPG and fall prey to officials of Transport Department by paying huge some of money as fine. Some kits are authorization like lack of warranty, safety features leading to the poor performance of the vehicle as well as blow up your car.
One should be extremely careful while opting for a LPG/CNG kits, make sure that you visit an authorized dealer with a legal certificate with numbers and other details as the same will be verified by the checking officer The authorized dealers fit the equipment and issue a certificate giving the numbers on the kit and other details.
