War with Iran

Introduction – Judging from the news it seems that the USA is serious about going to war with Iran. The news broadcasts from the mainstream government controlled media are extremely similar to the broadcasts aired when the USA attacked Iran. When – We think fairly soon, before the end of the year.

Why – We think that Iran is a wild card. They have been threatening to wipe Israel off the map. Not a smart thing to do since Israel is a major nuclear power. If Israel takes out the Iran nuclear facilities strategically by themselves then Iran may retaliate. This would mean more retaliatory strikes from Israel. Iran may hit Saudi Arabia and Kuwait as well thinking that somehow they were involved or at least they are US allies. They might rain missiles into US bases in Iraq. The straits could be closed. Numerous tankers sunk. Oil spills.

Nuclear fallout. So if the USA and of course the UK get together and go after Iran they may take the strategic strikes on their nukes, huff and puff on the news and that’s it. Then order is restored in the Middle East by USA definitions, and they go back to fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan. Now they are also fighting in Pakistan.
The other implication is an invasion of Iran. They have oil so there is additional motivation. Iran has also been pricing its oil on the Euro versus the USD. This is something Iraq did a few months before they got invaded. I do not think Israel could run a ground occupation that far away. They have never done such a thing before. The USA is an old hand at it. This does not mean they are any good at it, just that they are experienced at it. The way for the USA to clean up Iraq is to get into Iran. Iran is undoubtedly supporting the resistance against the US in Iraq. They would be supplying, training, recruitment, communication, arms, medical, support and a place to go for rest and recuperation.

If Iran is occupied then Iraq will fall and fast. The USA will get the oil fields. No other power is going to go into the region and try to mess around with the USA and Israel combined together in that region. If Iran goes nuclear they will provoke Israel. They will have Syria and Lebanon harass Israel with mortar and small rocket attacks. Israel will get mad and go in militarily. Then Iran will say they are our allies and an attack on them is an attack on us and we will fire nukes at you. It makes more sense for Israel to attack Iran before they get nuclear operational. The only other option Iran is giving to Israel is to abandon Israel and leave, which I doubt they would do under any threats or conditions.

The situation is so bad over there that the USA has to act or it can escalate to a major worldwide crisis. What if the Russians decide to support Iran against Israel? Then there could be a massive war with nukes flying all over the place, most unlikely but possible. It appears that sanctions are not going to go anywhere. Iran is racing the clock to complete before they get stopped and they will not stop unless they are stopped. If Iran had a well-developed nuke program then Chavez would have them. That would be real interesting and I am sure the USA would not want to go through this. All the powers involved are playing a lousy game and there are always going to be some unpredictable outcomes.

Added into this is the fact that Obama is minus a birth certificate showing he is eligible to hold office, so he needs a crisis right now real bad. He does not want to face his trial in Federal Court in January that is on the calendar. A war is a great way to be too busy for anything like a trial where you have to produce evidence that you are eligible to hold the office of President. In summation Iran is dangerous now, Obama is cornered on his eligibility to be President so he too is dangerously seeking a big crisis, especially one that makes him look like a hero. If Obama shuts down Iran or occupies them then he will have a victory in Iraq fast and then with his resources freed he may actually get control in Afghanistan. Let’s not forget the oil fields of Iran. Obama can come out of this looking pretty good turning public opinion his way. Israel is being backed into a corner by a religious zealot seeking nuclear capability saying that he will destroy their country. Looks like a perfect storm is brewing and this storm is best watched on TV from a place like Latin America.

How Does This Impact You – Well for one Iran may have been building terror cells around the world to unleash real terrorism? I would think this is highly probably how good they are will remain to be seen I am afraid to say. I am not talking of a phony 9/11 deal, but the real thing. They could use suicide bombers, shooters etc. to take lives and destroy property in countries they consider to be their enemies. They could get into chemical and biological weapons. It would be relatively easy to shut the USA down in a few days of terror attacks. Stock market crashes, bank holidays, etc. USA, Israel and the UK would be on the top of their hit lists. This could give Obama a big excuse to shut down the country. The dollar may spike up as a result of the war. Gold and silver will go up big time. Gas prices may double or even go higher. A lot will depend on whether or not any oil fields or refineries get destroyed. Closing the straits for a few weeks can have a similar but more temporary effect. If the oil prices spike up trouble for the economies of the US and UK. Things will get worse economically. Civil liberties will be gone and probably never return. Martial law has a high probability of coming into play if there are any terrorist attacks that are real. I am thinking Iran will try terrorism if they get attacked and especially if they get invaded. They know they can make the invaders pay a big price and may motivate them to cut their invasion short.

Suggestions – Watch the war from another country. Get a second citizenship and passport so you can travel without a risk of terrorism, which is probably going to be heightened for some years to come. Latin America is far enough away from the USA to not even be bothered by what happens up there. Inquire of us if you like.

Military Insiders Alert President Obama That Israel Is Going to Strike Iran

President Obama has just received a notice co-written by multiple military and intelligence insiders warning him that an Iran War resulting from an Israeli strike on Iran nuclear targets is about to break out as early as this month unless he takes quick action to stop it.



The last time that a group of intelligence professionals warned a sitting president about the potential for war was in February of 2003, when George Bush Jr. was warned that he was surrounded by, "advisers clearly bent on a war for which we see no compelling cause."



Needless to say, the warning was concerning the country of Iraq, and we know that the Iraq War was not avoided.



Have we learned nothing from history?



Does the President have the desire to avoid additional bloodshed, or will he let the nation be blindly led to another war depending on questionable pretenses that benefits the couple of at the expense in the numerous?

With both the economy and also the President's approval rating sinking precipitously, war may prove to be an all-too-convenient distraction towards the economic troubles at property, especially if blame can be passed to Israel.



Will the President view an Israeli-induced conflict as an opportune event to grandstand and aggrandize against the war, so that you can boost his approval ratings and take the primary focus of Americans off the economy?



Do we seriously would like to trade higher Presidential approval ratings for our young men and women coming house in caskets?



This warning must not be taken lightly. The scenario is gravely serious, and also the individuals issuing the warning are of the highest of integrity and come from deep within the military and intelligence establishment. Some from the sources sounding the alarm include:

Oil From Ancient Times

Many people are surprised to hear that we’ve been using oil for almost seven thousand years. At first, we used oil that seeped to the surface in the form of thick black tar. In the Middle East, there is a huge oil reserve underground. In this area, there have been enormous oil seeps of bitumen, oil springs and oil-bearing rock. Oil has been readily available for use in this area since ancient times.

Oil was even effectively used in the time of the caveman. During the Stone Age, man used the bitumen tar to repair pottery and to seal water containers so that they would not leak. Oil and tar was also used in the Stone Age to make bricks and mortar. Not all ancient men were cave dwellers. Some, in the Middle East, were actually marsh dwellers. They are the ones that created bricks and mortar from the thick, black, sticky tar that they had readily available in their bitumen seeps. The area where they lived often flooded. Their oil and tar homes kept them safe and waterproofed from these floods. Entire cities were built of these bricks and mortars in Babylonian times. The oil trade was the catalyst for industrialization in the Middle East.

The next use of oil in ancient times, which we know about, was when ancient man started coating their boats with oil. They knew about the waterproof properties of oil and tar, which led to this very effective practice. Boats were made of reed. Bitumen kept them from leaking. The practice quickly spread around the world. Sailors would always be stained black from working in these bitumen sealed boats. They eventually became known as tars from all of the black stains that they had. The practice of caulking boats with bitumen remained unchanged for thousands of years. It only ended when people started switching to metal and fiberglass for boat production in modern times.

Currently, we use oil in all of its forms. In the past, oil and gas were considered flammable, dangerous and too thin to use for any practical purposes. Bitumen was mainly used as a glue and a waterproofing agent. The Persians were the first to use the thinner forms of oil. They realized that the flammable properties could be very useful in battle. This was the beginning of modern warfare. Flaming arrows quickly turned into fiery bombs made with bitumen.

The Chinese were the first people to drill for oil and spark a revolution. Purely by accident, they discovered that when drilling for salty brine water that they could get to oil. We don’t know if they used the actual oil, but we do know that they used the natural gas that they discovered to boil the brine and get the salt out. Companies like Triple Diamond Energy use the same drilling principles today.

The Big, Bloody Business of Big, Bloody Oil

“Mark my words.  It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama, like they did John Kennedy.  The world is looking.  We’re about to elect a brilliant 47 year old senator president of the United States of America.  Remember I said it standing here, if you don’t remember anything else I said.  Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.”

During his speech at the now famous Seattle fundraiser, Mr. Biden named the Middle East and Russia as the possible (likely) generators of the crisis.  As his words became widespread, he received lots of criticism from his fellow democrats, who warned him that by saying those things in public he was jeopardizing Senator’s Obama’s chances at the Presidency.  Mr. Biden’s comments were the target of jokes from late night comedians, and parodied in a skit on Saturday Night Life.  What most people seemed to forget, or wanted to forget, was that Mr. Biden‘s words were the result of his many years of experience in international affairs.  As a seasoned politician, he could foresee the results of this election.  He knew we would have a generated crisis, and he knew it would generate in the Middle East or Russia.

Mr. Biden was accurate in predicting which countries would generate the crisis, but he could have been even more specific:  The crisis would be generated by the oil producers, the only beneficiaries of all the geopolitical turmoil around the world.  It makes no difference whether it’s the Middle East, Russia or Venezuela.  They all act together in unison as one bloc, with one objective in mind: to keep the price of oil high.

Fast forward to the end of December 2008, and Mr. Biden‘s prescient words came to pass.  Now, at the beginning of January 2009, the crisis generated by the oil producers is in full swing.  Russia, the Middle East and Venezuela are having a field day, rubbing their hands in glee at the results.  They finally managed to reverse the steep drop in the price of oil that started in July 2008.  At that time, oil reached an all-time high of around US$150.00 a barrel, enriching the coffers of the oil producing nations and wrecking the rest of the world’s economies.  Since then, the price of oil dropped to below US$40.00 a barrel.  That meant both a respite for the rest of the world, and a serious problem for the oil producers, who need oil to be priced above US$80.00 a barrel.  Anything lower than that and they cannot sustain their dictatorships.  OPEC scheduled emergency meetings to prop the price of oil.  First, they tried cutting down production.  That didn’t help much this time, because high priced oil already caused the deepest recession around the world since the Great Depression.  The world had curtailed their use of oil and the cuts in production were barely felt.  Another emergency meeting, another production cut.  The price of oil kept going down.  By then, it was obvious that no amount of production cuts would raise the price of oil.  They had to resort to the one tried and true marketing/public relations device that never fails in raising the price of oil.

Terrorism.

First, they attacked India.  As the sole terrorist survivor of the Mumbai massacres revealed, the original planned date for the attacks was September 27.  That was changed to November 27, after the US election.  A major terror attack like the one in Mumbai coming a month before the Presidential election would have had an impact on the result, and not the oil producers’ desired impact.

Oil did go up slightly, but that was only the beginning.  Attacks in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iraq went barely noticed.  The continuous barrage of rockets from Gaza targeting the civilian population of Israel hardly made the news.  However, that was were they concentrated their attacks.  Creating geopolitical turmoil increases the price of oil, and attacking Israel is what delivers the most bang for their buck.  Always.  Iran contacts its proxies Hamas and Hezbollah, green lights the attacks, and waits for the oil profits to roll in.  It’s a cost efficient method, too.  The UN and the WITOTs (Willing Idiots Targets Of Terror) condemn Israel, give money and aid to Iran’s proxies, and conveniently forget why the geological turmoil was generated in the first place and by whom.

To condemn Israel for defending its civilian population from terror attacks is the political equivalent of condemning a rape victim to death because she had sex outside the marriage.

Had the oil producers not attacked Israel, today oil would be below US$20.00 a barrel.  US$20.00 a barrel is not a comfortable price for Russia, Iran and Venezuela, the generators of the current crisis.  At US$20.00 a barrel, their economies crumble like dust in the wind.

Hamas and Hezbollah are called “proxies” of Iran.  However, because terrorism is about oil business, and to attack Israel was a business decision, it’s more accurate to call them “subcontractors“.

Joe Biden knew we would have a generated international crisis, and knew where it would come from.  Looking at the correlation of the price of oil and terror attacks,  we can all notice a pattern repeating itself.  What comes next after attacking Israel, and getting the UN, WITOTs and oil producers to condemn Israel‘s response, is a major terror attack somewhere in the world.  Somewhere where they can use extreme cruelty against defenseless people, and claim they did it because they were “angry” at Israel.

Watch the price of oil skyrocket. 

I’m concerned this major terror attack is imminent upon us.  It’s part of the script, scheduled after attacking Israel.
US$80.00 a barrel, here it comes.
All in the name of oil.
Never ever let anybody convince you that terrorism is about something other than raising the price of oil.
It’s not.

Protect our Oil Supply

The costs of running America have been rising with higher oil prices. Trucks that ship food products across the nation are paying more for diesel fuel. This means consumers will also be paying higher prices for food. Keeping a home warm in the winter, and cool in the summer, now costs extra money. And those costs will also be going up. Filling a twenty gallon automobile tank will soon cost eighty dollars. People are getting angry and they want our government to do something about it. That is what the war in Iraq is about.

It doesn’t take a financial wizard to know what will happen to the American economy and its people if oil prices go up much further. We would experience an inflation that has never been witnessed before. Our dollars will buy much less food and our heating and cooling costs will become unaffordable. Bicycles will have to be used by workers who couldn’t afford the expenses of getting to their job. It sounds like a nightmare but all these problems and much more will happen if energy costs keep rising.

The Middle Eastern countries are sitting on more than half of the known oil reserves; fortunately it is controlled by fair minded business people that keep the price of oil as low as possible. But if these oil supplies would ever fall into the hands of radical politicians they would charge as much as they can get for the oil. It would make the radical politicians rich and destroy the economies of the rest of the world. This would be bad news and it must not be allowed to happen.

Radical Arab politicians are calling for unity. They want to establish an Iranian Empire that would encompass the oil rich nations of the Middle East. Only a fool can be blind to their motives. They promise their poor followers riches beyond their wildest dreams. They say it would be possible if they could own the oil fields. They are liars because if successful these politicians would follow their Arab brothers who keep the billions in oil profits for themselves. The poor would remain poor.

It is the duty of world leaders to prevent the oil fields in the Middle East from falling into the hands of radical politicians. If they let that happen they are neglecting their responsibilities to the people. There are those that say that we should get out of the area and let the radical politicians take possession of the oil fields. I am sure that our wise leaders would never let that happen. We must be prepared to stay in the area until the price of oil is sure to be affordable.

Ancient Oil Practices

There is a vast underground oil reserve in the Middle East region of the world. It has been in use for over 6,500 years. In ancient times, it seeped to the surface in sticky black pools and lumps. Oil springs, bitumen seeps and oil-bearing rock made petroleum readily available all over the region.

Stone Age dwellers used bitumen (pitch or tar) to seal cracked pots and water containers. They also used it to fasten arrowheads to their shafts. In what is now Iraq, people lived in the marshes. They used oil to make bricks and mortar for waterproof homes, helping them to survive floods. In Babylonian times, entire civilizations used millions of these bricks to build their cities. The "black gold" trade was the driving force of this industrialization throughout the Middle East.

People eventually realized that they could use bitumen to coat their reed boats, inside and out, sealing out water. This idea, called caulking, was eventually spread and used on wooden boats all over the world. The bitumen would stain the sailors’ clothes, adopting them the nickname, "tars". This practice of caulking was used right up until modern days when metal and fiberglass hulled boats took the place of wooden ones.

In the beginning, people only used the sticky bitumen form of oil for gluing and waterproofing. They believed that the thinner forms of oil were too flammable and thin to be useful. By the 6th century BCE, the Persians realized that this thinner substance, which they called "naft", could be very useful in battle. Persian archers dipped their arrows, sending flaming missiles toward their enemies. Later in the century, Byzantine warriors developed explosive fire bombs called "Greek Fire" made from bitumen, sulfur and quicklime.

Ancient Egyptians mummified their dead with a mixture of salt, beeswax, cedar resin and bitumen. Scholars believe that the word "mummy" comes from the Arabic word "mumya", after the Mumya Mountain in Persia where bitumen was found. We didn’t believe that bitumen was used in mummification until recent chemical analysis proved that it was used to preserve bodies during the Ptolemaic period. Before that, we thought that the word "mummy" came from the black appearance that the remains took on after being exposed to the air.

Oil that was used in ancient times was usually found on the surface. The Chinese were the first to drill for oil. They actually made drills from bamboo dipped in iron. They drilled for salty brine water which they needed to preserve food and to make medicines. When they drilled deeply enough, they found oil. We don’t know if they actually used the oil that they found, but they did use the natural gas to boil the brine to extract the salt. Large companies such as Western Pipeline Corp use the same basic idea to drill for oil today.

US Military Adventures in the Middle East

US’ constant quest for the control of world’s energy, serves as the main motive behind its arms deals with several Middle Eastern countries.

US economic interests can be summarized as to a steadfast quest for the exploitation and control of the world's oil and energy supplies. This is the reason it invaded Iraq under the pretext of combating terrorism after the events of the September 11, 2001.

Maintaining access to Iraq’s oil is not the whole story. No matter how many young Americans or coalition soldiers get killed in Iraq, Pakistan or Afghanistan, and simply ignoring the death tolls on civilians, Obama administration seeks to perform its energy agenda throughout the oil rich Middle East by the use of military force.

Corporate USA needs to spread its tentacles in and around strategic locations that are known to be so vital to its trades and transactions. After Bush declared ‘mission accomplished’, he announced his plan for a US – Middle East Free Trade Zone to complete the corporate invasion of Iraq to the rest of the Middle East.

US economic agenda is accomplished through the use of military power. The latest arms deal with several of the Persian Gulf states, known by the US as 'allies', show that multinationals and arms manufacturers need the government to pave the ground to justify their presence in the region.

From a quote by the former US president, Dwight D. Eisenhower who said: "The military-industrial-complex [would] cause military spending to be driven not by national security needs but by a network of weapons makers, lobbyists and elected officials." one can clearly see what really fuels US policies in the Persian Gulf region.

Contribution of Middle East in Oil Production

 According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), oil reserves will peak in 2030 if world oil production increases at an average annual rate of three percent. While Crude oil production and reserves are concentrated in the Middle East. The political instability in the Middle East will ensure that the risk of oil market disturbances remains high, particularly since the region accounts for most of the world's oil reserves, production and exports.

The Middle East accounted for 30 percent of world crude oil production last year, while its share of global  proved oil reserves was 65 percent. The combined share of OPEC oil producers in world production and reserves stood at 41 and 78 percent, respectively, last year. Oil consumption, on the other hand, is concentrated in the industrialized countries. Japan's oil consumption is met completely by imports, of which the Middle East accounts for 81 percent. Of the industrialized countries, only the United States, Great Britain and Norway produce a significant amount of crude oil. Of these countries, only Norway is a net exporter of crude oil.

On a regional basis, Europe, NAFTA and Asia (excluding China) account for a majority of world crude oil imports. Around 30 percent of Europe's large net crude oil imports come from the Middle East, while a slightly higher share comes from the Former Soviet Union region. Nevertheless, oil production in the North Sea helps reduce Europe's dependency on imports. Japan and other East Asian countries are the most dependent on Middle East oil.

   

Industrialized countries remain highly sensitive to oil price shocks. Disturbances to the supply of oil could easily trigger a new energy crisis, with serious effects on the world economy.
